Countless actions have took place between the late 15th century and the early 19th 100 years, and Now i am supposed to locate one topic in this time frame? This is a nearly impossible task, but there is one event that has appeared to captivate myself – which is the Boston Massacre. The webpage I discovered communicates the basic – although most important – events in the massacre, that depicts the events through writing and reveals an image of " The Bloody Massacre", so the webpage was interesting in my eyes. In the 1700's, people were called either the patriots – whom backed the colonies – or perhaps loyalists – whom continued to be loyal towards the British. In 1770 when British troops were delivered to the colonies, patriots started to be angry. " A " patriot" mob, throwing snowballs, stones, and sticks" (Robert King, " The Boston Massacre", www.ushistory.org) started the street fight. The moment Captain Thomas Preston called in more military to help defend, they were bombarded. Consequently, the soldiers terminated at the mob and murdered five people. The Captain and soldiers were called into trail and defending the British were Josiah Quincy 2 and John Adams. The attorneys pertaining to the prosecution were Samuel Quincy and Robert Treat Pain. Preceding the trek, only two British military were identified guilty. At the end of the summary of occasions of the Boston Massacre, the writer proceeds to say that the Boston Massacre result in a great component to American background – the Revolutionary War. " It led directly to the Royal Chief of the servants evacuating the occupying army from the town of Boston, " (Robert Kind, " The Boston Massacre", www.ushistory.org) and it spread through the entire colonies in an armed rebellion.
